Our Story.
Our journey to craft the finest balsamic vinegar begins in the pristine landscapes of Korea's countryside, where nature thrives in harmony with tradition. Gochang and Jeju Island are the heart of our story, each offering unique flavors that shape our regional specialty balsamic vinegars.

Discovering Gochang:
A Land of Heritage and Flavor
In 고창 Gochang, a region of ancient farmlands and UNESCO biosphere reserves, bokbunja berries thrive under ideal conditions, enriched by mineral-rich soil and sunlight.
Working closely with local farmers, we harvest these berries at their peak, capturing their natural sweetness and tartness. Honoring Gochang’s traditions and sustainability, we incorporate its heritage into every bottle.
Designated as the “Vinegar Culture City” in 2019, Gochang inspires 복초 Bok Cho to share the health benefits and unique flavor of Bokbunja (Gochang Black Raspberry) K-Balsamic Vinegar with the world.
The Essence of Jeju Island: Nature’s Masterpiece
Over on Jeju Island, the volcanic soil and coastal winds create an environment unlike anywhere else in the world. Here, we source the finest tangerines known for their intense flavor profiles and refreshing zest.
The farmers of Jeju embrace the island’s unique ecosystem, practicing sustainable farming methods to protect their land. When we visit, we join them in the orchards, tasting fruits freshly plucked from the trees and discussing how the island's microclimate contributes to their exceptional quality.
From these conversations, we design vinegars that reflect Jeju’s natural beauty—bright, vibrant, and full of life.
Bokcho: The house of K-Vinegar
Every bottle of Bokcho balsamic vinegar carries the soul of Korea’s countryside. It’s a testament to the dedication of our farmers, the richness of our land, and the artistry of our fermentation techniques.
When you taste Bokcho, you’re not just enjoying a vinegar; you’re savoring the essence of Gochang and Jeju Island—a story of tradition, innovation, and the pursuit of excellence.
